Grocery Store Domination

Well being on a somewhat limited single income budget we have to do a lot of grocery store shopping. Some people make fun of me (my wife) for clipping coupons and having a coupon folder. But this weekend we dominated Tom Thumb and Krogers. We were getting low on a bunch of things and the deals were good, so Liz and I wrote a list and got on a mission. 1st stop was Tom Thumb and for under $50 we got things like Tide, a roast, fruit, veggies eggs, and much more for a total of 48% off. But Krogers we bought 38 items and had a coupon for almost everything and our total went from $119 to $58 for another 48% savings ($1.5 a item avg). The teenage boy at the register even complimented me about how much i saved. His words were "dang, that is some crazy savings"..... and I was thinking about all of the stuff i got for free or under a buck.....

So every once in a while in the coupon clipping world you have a good weekend and i felt proud so i felt like sharing it to yall......

I went to kroger today & saved 60%...could have been more but I needed a few things that were not really on sale. By the way, i love the new layout so cute!

I am so glad that you figured out the background. Very very cute! What are you going to Missouri for?
