ramble

Elizabeth and I wanted to thank everyone for helping with the Tulsa Fiesta party this past weekend. It was a really nice time to see everyone and we had Mexican food way to much this week with all of the leftovers.

So tonight started the best night of TV for us. THE OFFICE is back on and my life is now complete. I am just glad that y'all trusted me and esp Karen after making fun of me for watching is a big fan of the show.


So I read Kathy's friend Dawn blog every once in a while and she always does this tackle it Tuesday bit and it is now become a joke for Liz and i, that anything we do we say we are going to blog about it. I think tackle it Tuesday is a good idea. While Liz was studying for her test i starting cleaning and organize the kitchen. It was on a Monday so i didn't know what to call my Monday project.....


anyways enough with my ramblings....... Hope you y'all have a good weekend and i cant wait for the new NBC show Kath and Kim.... glad Kim and Kathy finally made a TV show. =)

Weekly Update???

I am not real good at blogging because i don't really feel like we have any thing to blog about....


We had a really busy weekend and put on a lot of miles on the cars.... Saturday was pretty crazy with Hurricane Ike rolling into DFW area.... It wasn't as bad as everyone thought but it was really nasty out.

Saturday Liz and her mom had to go to a wedding shower in Weatherford,TX (hr west of FW) so i was going to be a good husband and get some new windshield wipers for her car, get her car inspected, and hang out with her brother. Well at the inspection the guy said he was going to fail the car because there in an exhaust leak. So then i take the car to the Firestone store down the road. They charge me $30 to tell me there is a hole in the exhaust system. duhhhhhhhhhhh and of course they couldn't fix it. I am now in the process of looking for a guy to fix it for cheap. If i take it to Volvo it is going to be a $800-$1000 to fix. Awesome.... Well i still haven't got ahold of a guy that i know at work that can fix it and her car still has a hole and still has an out of date inspection.

After all of that we had to head 1.5hrs north east in the rain to make a wedding that Liz was doing the scripture reading in. For our one/two monthaversy we decided to stay in a hotel over there by the wedding so we didn't have to drive back to Grapevine in the Hurricane. It was really fun to spoil ourselves for a night. We got up the next morning and went to our favorite place to eat brunch and then we walked around the outdoor shopping area.

Sunday was also pay back moving day for some guys that help us move into our apartment on the 3rd floor.

So that was our busy weekend in a nutshell. We are heading up to Tulsa for a party that mom and dad are putting on. Hope to see y'all there

labor day

This weekend we decided to head up to the big town of Rattan, OK. It was great to take naps, sleep in, look at the stars, eat some good food, get all dolled up to go into town (hugo wal-mart), and have a phone that didn't really work.

Last night I had a few guys over for a fantasy football draft and it was one of the 1st time we had guest over to our humble abode. Liz cooked us some appetizers. She made homemade black bean dip, homemade guacomole, chicken nachos, and chips and salsa. She is becoming a pretty good chef lately. =) which is pretty good for me.


Well i had two houses close last week and i have two closing next week so i am going to be pretty stressed out with that, but after mid september i am going to be SLOW. .... i am starting to get worried about it so i have been working on putting my resume together. So if you could be praying for us as we try to figure out what we should do.
